Internet Safety

Tweens and Teens love to be social people.  Social networking via the internet is a common activity for these students.  Although this activity is a fun and easy way to stay in touch with friends, it can also be potentially dangerous for young people.  Here are some sites for internet safety to help using the web be a safe, productive, and enjoyable activity.

Accelerated Reader

Our AR program is off to a great start this year.  Students are reading more books than ever and taking quizzes on them to earn points.  Each student has an individualized plan to enhance reading this year.  Working with the English Department all students are reading and working toward their goal of points.  The AR program counts as a test grade for their English Class.  All students have 20 minutes per school day for reading time.  This ensures that they will have enough time to be able to reach their individual goals.  Your student can check his/her progress and points by logging into the Ren Learn website.  https://hosted82.renlearn.com/80394
